Battlemat Post Apo 2
Ancient Desert Battlemat – Sand-Buried Ruins
This battlemat depicts an ancient desert site partially swallowed by sand, where the remains of collapsed stone structures and broken slabs still emerge from the ground. The surface features light sand areas, forming natural wind-shaped paths, interspersed with firmer ground revealing the remnants of old constructions.
The cracked stone blocks, ruined platforms, and scattered rubble suggest a forgotten sanctuary, an abandoned ancient city, or a long-lost outpost. The balanced distribution of elements ensures excellent battlefield readability while providing numerous tactical options for placing additional terrain pieces.
Its non-directional layout allows the mat to be used from any orientation, offering great flexibility in table setup. The overall design remains clean and readable, making it equally suitable for narrative play and competitive games.
This battlefield is well suited to representing arid regions, ancient ruins, desert worlds, or forgotten war zones, while maintaining strong modularity and ease of play.
